Project Tangreen

Project: Tangreen – North York | High-Rise Concrete Repair, Balcony Restoration & Building Envelope Rehabilitation

Corcon Construction successfully delivered a large-scale concrete repair and full building envelope restoration project in North York, involving a 34-storey residential high-rise and extensive exterior rehabilitation.

This high-rise concrete restoration project required comprehensive upgrades to deteriorated balcony systems across all elevations. Corcon completed full concrete balcony slab repairs, structural restoration of slab edges, and concrete railing repairs, addressing advanced deterioration, delamination, and long-term exposure damage throughout the building.

Utilizing engineered swing stage access systems, Corcon crews safely operated across the entire structure, performing high-rise balcony repairs and restoration with precision, efficiency, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

All balcony surfaces were protected with a high-performance waterproofing membrane system, delivering long-term resistance to water infiltration, freeze-thaw cycles, and environmental exposure. As part of the complete building envelope restoration, Corcon also carried out extensive masonry brick replacement throughout the building, along with installation of new high-performance caulking systems to fully seal all exterior joints and window perimeters.

This project represents a massive multi-phase restoration of a 34-storey high-rise, requiring detailed coordination, consistent quality control, and expert execution across all aspects of concrete and façade rehabilitation
